Is A Skills Section Necessary On A Resume

It depends on the job and the skills you have to offer. In general, if you have skills that are relevant to the job you are applying for and that are not already highlighted in your work experience or education sections, including a skills section can be helpful in demonstrating your qualifications to potential employers. However, if your skills are already evident elsewhere in your resume, or if the job posting specifically asks for a different format, a skills section may not be necessary.
