More recently, I have been in charge of conceiving and developing a B2B content marketing strategy and marketing activities for Bonial, the
leading drive-to-store marketing platform in Europe. Press releases, articles, surveys, sales collaterals (presentations, business cases, product
sheets, brochures, videos), whitepaper, owned B2B events are some of the multiformat high value content pieces I have created in order to
attract and delight our personas, and help the Sales team convert them into customers.

Looking for a new challenge, I’m really interested in the position you are offering for several reasons.

First, because I'm willing to be a part of a meaningful challenge, and I believe there's a great story to tell about Doctolib. 

Second, because this strategic mission is largely focused on high value content which I believe is key to create and develop sustainable relationships in B2B. 

Last but not least, because I love working in an international environment (my last coworkers were in Berlin and Barcelona and I had to communicate and collaborate on a remote mode on a day to day basis), and I would love to put my expertise at the service of a true european leader.

At first, you may think that the cover letter should repeat all information from your resume but in a story-like form. However, that’s not true.

Instead of re-writing your resume, you need to focus on making the right impression.

You can do that by talking about the skills that help you overcome challenges, your excitement when it comes to the industry, your past achievements, and your knowledge of the company.

Now let’s look at some other things that will make your cover letter stand out.

Address your cover letter to the right person and make your introduction strong

Choosing the right salutation might be tough – we get it. After all, you don’t want to sound way too formal or too friendly.

There are some things that should definitely be taken into consideration when it comes to addressing your cover letter. First and foremost comes the recruiter’s name.

Even if you don’t know who the person reading your cover letter might be, try to find out. Check company websites or social media profiles or even media articles.

If this doesn’t help, you can go for traditional gender-neutral salutations that don’t require knowing the hiring manager’s name.

  • Dear Hiring Manager

The introduction is your chance of getting the reader’s attention and giving them a reason to see you as a good fit.

So make sure you highlight your excitement about the company or the industry (or even both!) and the reasons why you’d like to grow in the field.

Avoid using clichés like “I found your job posting on website X and decided to apply”.

Emphasize your senior marketing manager soft skills and mention your hard skills

While the resume is considered the best place to showcase your hard skills and achievements, the cover letter should tell a story and prove your enthusiasm for the field.
