Hej Lauren
Remanufacturing/Sustainability has been a part of my working life since 2007. And now I found your assignment and felt that this would fit me/us perfect. Like "the hand in the glove", sort of perfect.
I was dedicated to the Interior and Propulsion Electric for over ten years, and this was the most exiting time as the need of ingenuity and curiosity is highly needed.
Learning on the way forward, as we walk the walk, and doing this by using all of the company's full potentials in a Cross-functional way is very energizing. But in the end of it all you have to put Customer First.
I'm quite confident I might be the piece your looking for in your puzzle.
In the Remanufacturing business and process there needs also to be a bit of a wizard. To fix and trix when things not go so smooth as expected.
To have and use the contacts and solve the upcoming problem with in the Cross-functional team.
The Remanufacturing projects I have been involved in have been both inspiring and brought me a lot of competence in many different areas. All the way from the early R&D investigations, to the logistic parts of the process, via sub-suppliers to the workshop and end customer.
Also have had the possibility to work with US colleagues as well as colleagues in Europe. My last assignment gave me also the opportunity to work close with the Geely organisation in China.
What you get in me is a quite simple Team player, unpretentious, curious and listening person with a pretty deep empathy.
I have a great sense for music and concerts, but do not treat any instrument though. I love to collaborate in the kitchen in a good company.
You find my CV attached which gives a good picture of my skills and experiences and I am looking forward to seeing you.

I send over references on request.
Kind regards,
Asa Cannon

You probably know that cover letters complement resumes and that recruiters just love asking for them. But why are cover letters important?

Well, because they are your chance of telling a story.

And let’s face it – listing different skills and achievements on your resume is essential. But connecting the dots in your cover letter and explaining what’s helped you gain expertise will make you stand out.

Read our proven Manufacturing Engineer cover letter tips and examples below.

Have a manufacturing engineer cover letter that tells your story

By now you’ve probably learned that a well-written cover letter will complement your resume and increase your chances of getting the job.

It will also introduce the recruiter to your strengths and your capacity to handle challenges.

In short - it will make them want to learn more about you!

Check out our guide on what your cover letter should include for some additional inspiration.

Now it’s time to move on to what you actually came for – our professional tips and examples that will help you write a memorable cover letter and land an interview.

How to choose the most suitable salutation and make a good impression

Addressing your cover letter to a specific person works in your favor for two reasons: it shows your attention to detail, and it proves that you’ve taken the time to research who the person might be.

However, sometimes this might be much more difficult than expected. On such occasions, we advise you to focus on salutations that go beyond the impersonal “To Whom It May Concern”.

Here’s a brief list of suitable phrases:

  • To the Human Resources Department
  • Dear [company name] Recruiter
  • Dear Angela Stone
  • To the Recruitment Team

You wonder what the key to good introductions is? (Moderate) Creativity!

You’ve probably heard that many people out there have started using phrases like “I found your job advert on platform X and decided to apply”, right?

And what’s wrong with such phrases, you may ask. They’re outdated and they definitely won't make you stand out, to say the least.

So go for something different. Begin your cover letter by sharing your excitement about the company, the position, and even the field.

Mention both your hard and soft skills

Although you’ve probably listed (or are planning to list) your hard skills on your resume, don’t forget to mention them in your cover letter as well. One way to do that is by telling a personal story.

You can share how some of your skills or qualities have helped you achieve goals in the past. Or perhaps you want to talk about the things that help you get over challenges. You decide.

Naturally, both soft and hard skills should be present here. It’s especially important to include skills and qualifications that have been mentioned as part of the job description or the requirements section of the advert. This will help you pass applicant tracking systems that screen documents for certain keywords.

Prove how your skills can help the company grow

How can you prove your excitement about the company? By showing that you’ve taken the time to research its issues, goals, and plans. You can also link them to your skills and experience if you want to show that you're really a strong candidate.

In addition to making a great impression, researching the company will help you find out if you really want to be part of this team or not. After all, interviewing is a two-way process.

Go for an actionable ending

While a strong introduction makes a great first impression, a confident, yet considerate conclusion is essentially what will get you a callback.

There are different ways to end your cover letter. But remember – the closing line you choose should match the company culture.

Your safest bet would be going for traditional phrases like “Looking forward to hearing from you” or “Looking forward to your reply”. For bonus points, add a simple “Thank you for your time and consideration”.
