Turn your LinkedIn profile into a CV

A LinkedIn CV Builder is a tool that turns your LinkedIn profile into a CV so you can quickly apply for a job using optimised CV templates.

LinkedIn has shut down its old CV builder. The tool was removed and any saved CVs were deleted by 12 June 2024. This move was part of LinkedIn’s shift towards launching new features, including a premium AI-driven CV builder expected later on. While waiting, you can use alternatives like Enhancv, which lets you create a professional CV from your LinkedIn profile.

When you add your public LinkedIn URL, our system pulls all your experience and content and fills in your CV automatically.

It helps to keep both your LinkedIn profile and your CV updated when applying for roles. The simplest way to align them is through our LinkedIn CV builder.

You can export your LinkedIn profile as a PDF, but LinkedIn doesn’t offer dedicated CV templates, customisation, or ATS checks — all of which Enhancv provides when converting your LinkedIn to a CV.

First, make your LinkedIn profile public. Then check you’ve added enough details — ideally in the Summary, Experience, and Education sections — so the builder can extract them into your CV.
