A vlog that’s so much more. It’s what let Neistat step away from the red carpet and become the filmmaker he always wanted to be. The channel has over 9 million subscribers, 2 billion views, and brand partnerships with Nike, Samsung, Google, J-Crew, Mercedes Benz, and Finn Jewelry.
The Hollywood Thing
Neistat produced some movies, went to Sundance and Cannes, and won some awards before getting disillusioned with Hollywood. He decided his path to becoming a filmmaker was through Youtube. Neistat was involved in films like The Pleasure of Being Robbed, Daddy Longlegs, and Bolt from the Blue

Neistat spent a year creating eight 25 minute movies with his brother Van. They sold the series to HBO for almost $2 million.
